1. Kimpton Hotels
Kimpton has 67 properties in 37 cities across the United States, and pets stay free at every single location. There are no additional fees to bring your dog along for your stay at Kimpton, and even better: no restrictions on weight, size, or breed.
This hotel chain also offers extras for your dog, including plush pet beds, food, water bowls, and mats. Additionally, they offer a concierge list of nearby pet-friendly restaurants, parks, groomers, and pet boutiques.
Something that I really love about Kimpton is that they also include door hangers to alert other hotel guests and staff that your beloved pet is in the room. A few years ago we stayed in a Nashville hotel where the staff almost let our dog Sadie escape while we were out. If I hadn’t forgotten my purse and had to return to the room, who knows what might have happened.

2. Red Roof Inns
Red Roof Inns not only welcome your pet with no additional fees, but they also offer a 10 percent discount when you check in with your dog! Now that’s what I call pet-friendly!
This chain has over 500 locations in 36 states, and most of them allow pets. When making reservations or checking in, always remember to verify that the location will indeed welcome your pet.

3. La Quinta
La Quinta is a moderately priced hotel chain with more than 900 locations. Most of these locations allow pets, and many of them do not charge any additional fees. Always verify when making reservations or checking in that your pet is welcome at that particular property.

4. Motel 6
Every one of more than 1,200 Motel 6 properties across North American is pet-friendly, and there are no extra fees for bunking with your dog. The chain allows 2 pets per room, with no restrictions on size or weight. Be sure to double check that your pet is welcome when making reservations or checking in.
