Hey, dog moms! Did you know that the 3rd Saturday of October is Chuckit! National Fetch Day? In 2019 we’ll celebrate this fun, dog-centric howliday on Saturday, October 19th! There’s still lots of time to plan a special day for you and your dog!
October weather in Indiana can be somewhat unpredictable, but as long as it’s not cold and snowing, we’re planning a fun day with our dogs! We’ll invite some dog-loving friends over for a BBQ, and of course they’ll be bringing their dogs!
We’ll play some fun games with our Chuckit! toys, and hopefully it’ll tire all the dogs out so that the humans can kick back and enjoy an adult beverage or two!
Nike and Georgie were more than happy to help me test out some of the fun Chuckit! toys in preparation for our National Fetch Day celebration, and when you see the photos, I think you’ll agree that they had a lot of fun.
Nike absolutely loved chasing the Chuckit! Zipflight! I threw it to her 4 or 5 times before she decided she’d had enough. After all, she’s almost 10 years old, so she’s all about the reward nowadays.
See what I mean? She grabbed the toy and went and laid down with it while Georgie did a little fetching of her own. She’s not the best fetcher on the block, but she’s got a seriously cute “fetch face”! Take a look at this super short video to see what I mean!
Chuckit! has so many fun and interactive toys for dogs, and to be honest, my dogs don’t know which one is their favorite. The one thing we do know is that no matter which one they choose, there’s always lots of good times to be had.
